30km Speed limit consultation.

GADRA encourages all residents to take part in the present DCC consultation on the proposed 30km speed limit. Please read and review the attached documents and make a submission. We will place our draft submission on this website shortly for your input. 

Dublin City Council wish to engage with residents through public consultation with regard to the expansion of the 30km speed limit into more residential areas of the city. The aim of the consultation is to get public feedback on the proposed 30km speed limit for the purpose of  accessing public levels of support and identifying if there are any particular barriers to acceptance and compliance.

Submissions may be made online, on or before 5pm on Sunday 22nd September 2019. Submissions can also be made in writing marked “Speed Limit Review”  Senior Engineer, Transport Operations, Environment and Transportation Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, D08 RF3F… or via email to [email protected]  A hardcopy of the proposed Special Speed Limit Bye-Laws 2019 is available for inspection at all Dublin City Council Libraries and Local Area Offices for the duration of the Public Consultation.
