NTA announced the revised plans for the Dublin Area Bus Network Redesign. Public consultation closes on Dec 3rd. Both routes 11 and 13 are gone. This new design is in response to the 50000 submissions made by the public in the first phase of this project according to the NTA. Almost 22000 (45%) of the 50000 submissions related to loss of existing services. Within our area the 11 and 13 bus routes are gone. For Home Farm road there will be a local route the no 94 from Wadeli to Dorset street / Parnell square only via Homefarm road and for  Griffith avenue there is an orbital route N2 from Marino to Glasnevin Broombridge to Stoneybatter.  We are loosing our cross city bus from this area. There is no open day in our area. Please request that your public reps request this. You can make your submission online to [email protected] or by post to Dublin Area Bus Network ReDesign, NTA, Dun Sceine, Harcourt Lane, D2.

Please contact and copy in your Councillors and TD’s so that they know your views too. We will put our draft submission on the website in advance of the closing date for your input but we recommend that everyone needs to make an individual submission from each person in your home.
