Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival 2017 (December 1st-3rd)
GlasDrum reunites with Music at DCU to present the
FIDELIO TRIO WINTER CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
in Belvedere House, St Patrick’s Campus DCU, Drumcondra, Dublin 9.
Now in its fifth outing, this gem of a winter weekend sees the renowned Fidelio Trio – Darragh Morgan (violin), Adi Tal (cello) and Mary Dullea (piano) – appearing in the intimate 18th century surrounds of Belvedere House for four sumptuous programmes. To whet your appetite, we can confirm that the programme will include ‘Italiana’: an evening of Italian music; the world premiere performance of a new piano trio from composer Kevin Volans commissioned by RTÉ lyric fm; and ‘Up by the Roots’ by Piers Hellawell / Sinead Morrissey, narrated by famed actor Adrian Dunbar. Guest artists include international violin soloist Jack Liebeck and a welcome return visit to Dublin by Irish violist Ruth Gibson.
This programme is supported by Croke Park Community Fund.
